The Varsity Football and Cheerleader families traditionally plan meals for after games and coordinate additional travel arrangements for away games that require lengthy bus rides. For information and a schedule click here.

May Booster Club Minutes
The Booster club of Dorchester Academy met on Monday, May 2, 2011. Our President called the meeting to order and the financial report was given.
• Volunteers are needed to work the concession stand on Friday. Games begin at 4:00. Harvey volunteered to open at 2:00 and get everything started.
• Prices for admission are $6 and $4. Teachers will work the gate.
• Spring Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011. The basketball, softball, and baseball teams will be honored. There will also be special awards given.
• The softball team will recognize the Seniors on Monday, May 9, 2011.
• Other important dates:
o May 22 Baccalaureate Service
o May 26 Graduation
o June 13-17 Libya Rentz Basketball Camp
• New Booster Club officers will be elected in June. Everyone was urged to get others involved in the Booster Club.
• There were 500 tons of dirt brought in by Gene Weathers.
• Volunteers may be needed to help prepare the gym for graduation.
• The next Booster Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at 6:00.
