To be considered for admission to Dorchester Academy, all prospective students must either provide documentation of successfully completing a comparable standardized test and/or take an entrance exam. Copies of transcripts from previous schools must be presented. The school reserves the right to determine grade placement of all students based on the documentation and to determine appropriate credits awarded. The school further reserves the right to refuse first-time admission to any student based on prior academic or disciplinary records. D.A. has the right to refuse first-time admission and/or returning admission to any student who has a criminal record, and to expel any current student who is convicted of a criminal offense. Students with delinquent tuition past 60 days will not be allowed to participate in athletic or academic activities.

All new students are required to complete an application and submit a $75 application fee.
Current Students:
- Return signed contract with first payment by April 15, 2010, to reserve your space for 2010-2011.
- Make sure you mark your payment plan choice. If you leave it blank, we will use Plan C.
- If your contract is not received on or before April 15, 2010, there will be a re-enrollment fee of $1,000.00, if space is available in the class.
New Students:

- Class sizes are limited and there may be a waiting list. Be sure to register early.
Former Students Wishing to Return to Dorchester Academy:

- A $1,000.00 per child re-enrollment fee will be assessed for former students wishing to return if a contract has not been received on or before April 15, 2010.

NOTE: Dorchester Academy’s contract is legal and binding.
- No deduction or allowance from any of these payments shall be made by reason of the absence, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal of the student for any reason whatsoever.
- If an account becomes over 30 days past due during the school year, the student will not be allowed to attend classes until the account is paid up to date.
- If a cancellation of the contract is received before August 1, 2010, previous payments for the same academic year will be refunded, except the 1st month’s tuition will be retained as a non-refundable deposit and a $500 per student cancellation fee will be charged.
- No refunds of payments or deposits will be made for cancellations received on or after August 1, 2009, and a $500 per student cancellation fee will be charged. The $500 cancellation fee is due within 30 days of the student’s withdrawal or cancellation request.
- No transcripts or records will be released until the amount due is paid in full.
