  • New Students
    1. Complete an enrollment application for each child. Provide birth certificate, immunization record, transcripts and/or most recent report card.
    2. Enclose a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee for each new student.
    3. Complete a family contract with Karen Griffith, Financial Secretary. The contract must be completed in it’s entirety before approval is given or payment is receipted.
    4. Enclose the first month’s tuition payment and any applicable building fund fee.
    5. Mail or hand-deliver your forms and fees to Dorchester Academy at 234 Academy Road, St. George, SC 29477.
    6. Class sizes are limited and there may be a waiting list. Be sure and register early.
    7. All applications are received on a provisional basis until official transcripts and behavior records have been received from the previous school.
  • Current Students
    1. A student may not enroll for the upcoming school year until the current year’s tuition is paid in full.
    2. Complete and return your signed contract with the tuition payment by April 3rd, to reserve your space. The contract must be completed in it’s entirety before approval is given or payment is receipted.
  • Other Information
    1. Dorchester Academy charges an annual Building Fund fee of $100.00 per family with a $1000.00 maximum. This non-refundable fee must be paid for all 1st – 12th graders and is in effect as long as you have a child enrolled at the school.
    2. If an account is past due 60 days or more, the student will not be allowed to participate in any academic or athletic event until the account is paid up to date.
    3. If a withdrawal request is submitted before August 1st, payments for the current year will be refunded, excluding the first month’s tuition payment and a $500.00 cancellation fee. This fee applies to each student included on a family contract.
    4. No refunds will be given for withdrawal request received on or after August 1st and a $500.00 cancellation fee will be charged for each student. The $500.00 cancellation fee is due within 30 days of the student’s withdrawal request.
    5. No records or transcripts will be released until the students account is paid in full.
