To be considered for admission to Dorchester Academy, all prospective students must either provide documentation of successfully completing a comparable standardized test and/or take an entrance exam. Copies of transcripts from previous schools must be presented.
The school reserves the right to determine grade placement of all students based on the documentation and to determine appropriate credits awarded. The school further reserves the right to refuse first-time admission to any student based on prior academic or disciplinary records. Dorchester Academy has the right to refuse enrollment to any new or returning student who has a criminal record.
Dorchester Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin in the administration of academic, scholarship, educational, or athletic policies.
New enrollees are required to meet with the Head of School.
Dorchester Academy has a No Pass, No Play policy for all athletes.
Students with delinquent tuition of 60 days or more will not be allowed to participate in any academic or athletic activities.
